Cocklety How Studio Apartment is part of Cocklety How, the beautifully situated converted 17th century barn, which comprises 2 first floor self-contained units. An interconnecting door allows them to be occupied together. The larger unit is Cocklety How Stable Loft.

The Studio Apartment is entirely self-contained, occupying one end of the first floor, but it has the additional facility of an interconnecting door allowing it to be occupied together with the Stable Loft, a two-bedroom apartment at the southern end of the building.
The Studio Apartment has its own entrance from the first floor level. The patio has a sunny sheltered aspect and views from the patio towards the wooded fell behind offer great opportunities for wildlife enthusiasts: previous guests have been delighted by the activity of our resident tawny owl, woodpeckers and red squirrels. These are but a few players in the rich wildlife habitat that surrounds Manesty which has enchanted our guests time and time again.
The Studio has uninterrupted views towards the eastern side of Borrowdale, looking towards the peaks of Walla Crag, Falcon Crag, Shepherd’s Crag, Brown Dodd and King’s How.
The kitchenette and shower/WC open off the Studio, which has a 6ft bed, free sat. TV, DVD player and dining area under the window. Designated off road parking for one car is offered at the studio, with space for another nearby should you need it.
Facilities: These are the same as those listed under cottage facilities except as listed below:
Kitchen equipment There is no cooker, instead there is a hob with 2 electric plates and a microwave with integral oven and grill. The refrigerator has a small ice box.
Beds, bedding and linen The 6ft bed can be converted into two singles, please notify us and also nominate this on the booking form.

Terms and Booking: 2010 rates: £59 per night; £373 per week. There are special out of season and single occupancy rates. To make a booking first confirm availability with a telephone call, then post a completed booking form with your booking and good housekeeping deposits. No Smoking and No Pets: We ask or guests not to smoke in the Studio and not to bring dogs or other pets into the buildings or grounds.
