The single caravan occupies an elevated, sheltered and private position at the southern end of the small wood that is behind Manesty and Youdale Knot.
Suitable for up to 4 persons
The caravan is 26ft long with a combined shower/wc, a galley kitchen which extends into a generous living/dining area, a main bedroom with double bed and a second bedroom with two 2ft beds which can become a double bed and a folding bunk which is suitable for a young child.
The caravan has a beautiful view across Borrowdale to Walla Crag in the north east, past Falcon Crag, Shepherd’s Crag, Brown Dodd to King’s How in the south east which can be enjoyed from the outdoor picnic table. The wooded fell behind the caravan offers great opportunities for wildlife enthusiasts and our resident tawny owl, woodpeckers and red squirrels are but a few players in the rich habitat that can be watched at close hand from inside.

Kitchen equipment The 4 cubic ft refrigerator has a small ice box
Heating There are no off peak storage heaters. There is a 3 kilowatt radiant/convector heater in the living area, a 400 watt panel heater in the main bedroom and a 100 watt tubular heater in the bathroom.
Hot Water There is instantaneous electric water heating.
Linen and Bedding The bedding (duvet, mattress protecter and 2 pillows) and the bed linen (duvet cover, sheet and 2 pillow cases) are provided for the double beds but not for the 2 ft. singles; please bring duvets/sheets/sleeping bags as desired for the singles; we do provide pillows, please bring the pillow cases. We can, if you wish, provide bedding and bed linen for the singles for £2 per bed. Towels can also be hired for a £1 a towel.
No smoking and no pets: We ask our guests not to smoke in the caravan and not to bring dogs or other pets into the grounds.
